Ieronim Buga studied piano at the “Dinu Lipatti” Music High School in Bucharest, after which he reoriented his specialisation towards choir conducting. He graduated from the Conducting Section of the National University of Music in Bucharest in 1997.
Ever since, he has been developing his career along three directions.
As a pianist, he is mainly preoccupied with accompaniment, being especially interested in ensemble work and in the human voice. Thus, he has been appearing in many concerts and recitals, accompanying mostly vocal soloists and choirs.
In order to better understand the subtleties and difficulties of the chorister’s profession, he sings as a bass in the “George Enescu” Philharmonic Chorus.
